Behavioral Health Design Commission Awarded to Prominent Healthcare Architect

Bernstein & Associates, Architects is pleased to announce that it has been selected to design a new, 25 bed inpatient psychiatric inpatient unit, for a prominent hospital in New York.

Behavioral health is an important part of the continuum of health care services in our society, and Bernstein & Associates, Architects is pleased to be chosen the designer of this behavioral health facility.

The services provided include architectural, engineering and interior design of a state-of-the-art inpatient behavioral health facility. The design effort will be focused on behavioral health patient safety, patient comfort, and best practices in behavioral health design. The focus on patient safety included a comprehensive effort to create a suicide resistant design, with a particular focus on areas that are reachable by the patient particularly in private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms.
