Urgent Care Design Commission Awarded to Bernstein & Associates, Architects

The new urgent care center --- to be designed by Bernstein & Associates, Architects --- will be a state of the art urgent care facility in New York.

The new facility will be a gut rehab of an existing two story retail building. The project will include the urgent care program including a radiology suite and physical therapy suite. The project will also include complete new mechanical/electrical infrastructure including a completely new HVAC system, new generator, new elevator, and all new electrical and plumbing systems and fixtures.

Urgent Care facilities, according to the National Association for Ambulatory Care, are the largest growing sector in the ambulatory healthcare market.

A common scope of services in an Urgent Care Center, according to the NAAC, includes the following:
- Minor laceration, fractures, bumps sore throats, ear infection, and other "just don’t feel good" conditions
